Paisley signing in! So, in an endeavor to catch back up to our present location I’m adding another post to today’s deluge. This one is a tale of adventure and exploration set after our layover in Rochester. We continued west through the blazing sun and murky evening of one terribly long day of automotive travel. Our destination: the Black Hills of SD. Dad has had a yearly tradition with his buds to go to the Black Hills every Memorial Day. The trip has been on stop and go terms for the last couple years but it is still steeped in tradition from its colorful past. One of said traditions is that the member of the party with the most “firsts” has to buy everyone else ice cream at the end of the trip. This journey the dubious joy of the afore mentioned accomplishment was awarded to: O’Day!
